Things You Need to Know
The premises mean: Delta 612, Delta Office Park, Swindon, SN5 7XF
The Goods shall mean: Gowns, Dresses and or accessories to be purchased or altered.
The Buyers shall mean: The person for whom the goods are being purchased together with the party paying for all the goods.
1.1 The buyer will need to pay for the goods in pounds sterling via Bank transfer, debit/credit card or cash. Please note we do not except cheques.
1.2 All the goods remain the property of Event Style Bridal Boutique until paid for in full with cleared funds.
1.3 The buyer is required to pay a non refundable deposit of 50% of the total price of the gown at the time of the order. Event Style Bridal Boutique cannot process the order until this has been paid with cleared funds. Your balance will be due within 14 days of receipt in store, we will contact you once your gown has arrived and request the final payment by bank transfer or credit card payment. All other goods shall be paid for in full at time of order/purchase
1.4 Reduced goods sold as “Sale” or “Used sample” maybe soiled and/or damaged. The buyer should examine the goods before leaving the premises as any specified faults or a change of mind by the buyer will not constitute grounds for a refund. Sample sale gowns are non refundable and sold as seen.
2.1 Delivery timescales for the manufacturers and /or Designers used by Event Style Bridal Boutique are as follows: Bridal gowns up to 6 months, accessories normally between 4-8 weeks. It is possible for some of our designers to provide a rush order, under 12 weeks, by prior agreement with your chosen designer. There is normally a charge for this service, which will be added to your gown cost.
2.2 Whilst Event Style Bridal Boutique will use all reasonable endeavors to execute each order within the timescales above, Event Style Bridal Boutique shall not be liable for any delay/non delivery of goods by the manufacturer or designers due to unforeseen circumstances.
2.3 The buyer shall inspect the goods upon receipt and shall notify Event Style Bridal Boutique if the goods are damaged. If the buyer fails to do so she/he shall be deemed to have accepted the goods.
2.4 Damage/soiling to a wedding gown after goods have been accepted remains the buyer’s responsibility.
2.5 Sample dresses and swatches may not all be cut from the actual roll used for your order and this may lead to a slight variation in colour and tone.
3. Fittings and Alterations
3.1 It is extremely rare that a gown will not need alteration. Unless otherwise stipulated our gowns/dresses are not made to measure.
3.2 Event Style will order the nearest standard size from the manufacturer/ designer on your behalf, based on your measurements and compared to the official manufacturers/designers size chart. The size to be ordered will be discussed with you at the time of ordering. The staff at Event Style Bridal Boutique will give you advice/recommendations, however, the final choice of size ordered will be yours.
3.3 Making sure your measurements are accurate. Once measurements and sizing have been taken for your order, we will not be held responsible for any weight loss/gain or any other changes in your measurements and sizing (for example due to pregnancy). If your measurements and sizing change it will be your responsibility to notify us, in which case we will confirm if we are able to make further alterations prior to delivery and what the estimated additional costs will be.
3.4 Once the gown/dress arrives it can be altered to fit the individual figure, alterations are an additional cost and charged separately. Alterations can be arranged with our recommend seamstress’s or directly at an independent seamstress's premises if you prefer.
3.5 Alterations are the responsibility of the buyer, and not Event Style Bridal Boutique
3.6 It is the buyers responsibility to inspect the goods before leaving the premises. Event Style Bridal Boutique cannot accept liability of any loss or damage to the goods after they have left the premises.
4.1 Customers who cancel their sales contract are not entitled to a refund of any monies already paid up to and including the cancellation date. Please be aware that once gowns are ordered minimum cancellation periods from suppliers apply to Event Style Bridal Boutique, and under no circumstances can this be changed.
4.2 Dress orders will still have to be paid for in full, if the wedding is cancelled for whatever reason, costs will still be incurred to the suppliers and to Event Style Bridal Boutique – regardless of any circumstance.
4.3 Sale gowns/accessories bought cannot be returned or any monies refunded, it is sold as seen.
4.4 For reasons of hygiene all accessories which have been removed from the premises, once paid for cannot be refunded or exchanged.
5.1 Should the store breach its obligations under this agreement, its liability is limited to any direct loss incurred by the customer arising from such breach.
The store will not be liable for any breaches caused by circumstances outside Event Style Bridal Boutique’s control, including, but not restricted to acts of god, war, riot, terrorism, malicious damage, fire ,flood or storm.
THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OUTLINED ABOVE DO NOT IN ANY WAY AFFECT THE CUSTOMERS STATUTORY RIGHTS
