You’ve Got Questions - We’ve Got Answers

Can I just drop in and how long will my appointment last?

In order to give you the best possible service, we do work by appointment – so you will need to pre-book with us, just give us a call and we can easily arrange this for you.

Please allow at least 1 and a half hours for your appointment, we want it to be a nice, relaxed, enjoyable experience. We know that buying your dress is an exciting time for you and you will want to bring your mum, aunties, nan's and all your bridesmaids; however, if you can limit this to a few of the key people, your experience will be much more enjoyable. Bring the people whose opinion you trust and value so that you are not focussed on trying to please too many opinions.

On this note our bridal showroom is on the third floor with no lift access so please let us know if you or your guests have difficulty with stairs and we can shimmy things around and use our ground floor space if required!

What sizes do you stock and what shall I bring with me?

We stock a range of sizes usually from a size 8 to a size 20. Don’t worry if the dresses don’t fit you perfectly, there are lots of little tricks that we have to give you a good idea of what it will look like when you order.

Designer wedding dresses often come up small so the size that fits you may be larger than your normal dress size. Some gowns will fit a size smaller or larger than the label size if it has a corset style bodice.

Please bring your own shoes and appropriate underwear that you plan to wear on the big, whether its suck me in knickers or something a bit more frilly!

Do you do accept returns and do you offer alterations?

All gowns are sold as seen and we advise that you check the gown over fully before making your purchase. Any imperfections that we are aware of will be pointed out to you at your appointment. As a result we cannot accept returns and do not provide refunds.

Most gowns can be taken in by 1-2 dress sizes by a seamstress, and whilst you won’t have your alteration appointments at ES Bridal we are more than happy to provide you with details of recommended seamstress’ in the area. For clarity all gown alterations are a separate cost to the gown you purchase.
